1. What this is
Capital & Freedom is a financial education service run by Namita Dahiya. Everything on this website, in the newsletter, in the free material, in the courses and in any social media content is provided for general education and information only.
2. This is not investment advice
Nothing here is investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or financial product. No content is tailored to your personal situation, goals, income or risk tolerance, and none of it should be treated as if it were.
3. Registration status
Namita Dahiya is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India as an Investment Adviser under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013, or as a Research Analyst under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014. She is not registered with any other financial regulator, and she is not a distributor or agent for any mutual fund, insurer, broker or financial product.
4. No recommendations of specific securities
Namita does not and will not recommend any specific share, mutual fund, bond, insurance policy or other security. Where a product type or platform is mentioned, it is mentioned as an example to explain how a category works, and never as a suggestion that you should use it.
5. No money management
Namita does not manage, hold, pool, receive or handle money or securities belonging to anyone else. She does not have access to any student's accounts and does not place transactions for anyone. All accounts remain in your own name and under your own control.
6. No promised or guaranteed returns
No return is promised, guaranteed, projected or implied anywhere on this site or in any course. Any figures you see are illustrations of arithmetic at an assumed rate, clearly labelled as such, and used only to show how compounding, tax or inflation behave. They are not forecasts. Real returns can be higher, lower, or negative.
7. Investments carry risk
All investments carry risk, including the risk of losing some or all of your capital. Past performance is not an indicator of future results. Markets fall, sometimes sharply and for long periods. Please consider your own circumstances carefully, and read all scheme related documents before investing in any product.
8. Please get proper advice
For advice about your own situation, please consult a SEBI registered investment adviser, a qualified chartered accountant, or another licensed professional. Education teaches you how the system works. It cannot replace advice from someone who knows your full financial picture and is accountable for it.
9. Accuracy and change
Tax rules, regulations, product features and platform processes in India change frequently. Material is prepared with care but may become out of date, and errors are possible. Always check the current position from an official source such as the Income Tax Department, SEBI, or the product provider before acting.
10. No commissions or paid promotion
Capital & Freedom does not accept commissions, referral fees, revenue shares, sponsorships or payment of any kind from financial product providers, brokers, platforms or insurers. Course fees paid by students are the only source of revenue.
11. Third party links
Where this site links to another website, that link is for convenience only. Capital & Freedom does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any other site.
12. Your decisions are yours
Any action you take on the basis of anything learned here is taken entirely at your own risk. Namita Dahiya and Capital & Freedom accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of this material, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Note for the site owner: this disclaimer is a strong starting point, but it is not legal advice and it has not been drafted by a lawyer. Before the first paid cohort, have an Indian lawyer familiar with SEBI regulations review this page, the terms, and how the course is marketed. Replace this note with your registered business name and address once those exist.
